On
Saturday September 20, 2008 there will be a CERT and MRC Trailer
mobilization and training exercise at the State Police
Academy in Sea Girt,
NJ. This event is open to all trailer recipient teams ONLY. County Trailer recipients are able to invite
their County team and a limited number of town teams if they so desire
to represent the County trailer. Reporting time will be from 7:00am to
8:45am with the event to start promptly at 9am. Trailer recipient
teams will go through a number of practical exercise and training
scenarios to include but not limited to; missing persons search, triage
and treatment, fire suppression, cribbing, mobile command post
operations, incident command and staging area, donations management.
Team leaders should begin to notify their members of this event and have
a firm count of attendees by September 1st.
Trailer recipients will bring their equipped trailers to the event and utilize it as their mini-command post operation. Breakfast and lunch will be provided throughout the day with the support of the Salvation Army.
